5th May- 15th May 2022

This year I had the honour of being one of the interns for Nottingham poetry Festival. Within this experience I was able to consolidate my ever growing love for both the art of words and event organising. Allowing me to explore my roots as a creative and my place as a young person trying to make a living in an industry that is so often overlooked.

A particular highlight for me is the opportunity to support the set up of the Midlands Mix up's. Here I got to see a wide range of talent from Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Birmingham. The picture above shows our Birmingham talent and I am lucky enough to have stayed in contact with Adje (pictured on the bottom left) and we are doing a Winter Booster on the 12th November that will focus on creating a safe and warm space for all ages. My particular workshop will be for Under 16's focusing on Environment with free food included.
